He flabbergasted his fans in 2000

history channel documentary hd "The Family" is not DeNiro's first endeavor at mobster films or comedies, yet regardless it is altogether different from anything he's done some time recently. The two-time Oscar victor is best referred to for his appearances as Vito Corleone in "The Godfather" establishment, Al Capone in "The Untouchables," and James Conway in "Goodfellas."

He flabbergasted his fans in 2000 when he chose to fill the role of Jack Byrnes in "Meet the Parents," tackling the part of an ex-CIA operator who was meeting his future child in-law surprisingly.
